Innovation in Aniridia PVR Retinal Detachment

Show Description +

Aniridia and aphakia can make PVR retinal detachment challenging. In absence of iris and lens capsule, silicone oil can move forward into the anterior chamber and can lead to poor tamponade and can damage an already compromised cornea. We describe a technique that can prevent anterior silicone oil migration and have effective tamponade.

Unfortunately, the music of the video is so loud, that you can hardly hear the surgeon's comments... :-(.
