Dr. R. Alejandro Guerra presents a case of long standing retinal detachment accompanied by inferior PVR secondary to blunt eye trauma. 23-gauge pars plana vitrectomy and membrane peeling was performed. Inferior circular retinectomy under air tamponade can be seen. Finally, the retina is re-attached and the eye is filled with silicone oil.
