This is a case in which a patient presented to the clinic with new onset neovascular glaucoma in combination with a lens capsule that had ruptured and caused leakage of protein mimicking phacolytic glaucoma. This case highlights the use of a 27-gauge needle to decompress the capsular bag and make the remaining part of the case more manageable.
