I sopose you achieve type 2 closure with inverted ILM , which is not functional as vision. In my case i have 0.3 UDVA after silicon oil removal and reformed ELM line in the macula . The doctor described the inverted ILM technique, from Poland is Jerzy Nawrocky

I would do just an inverted flap as has been explained by Dr. Jersey of Poland. I have closed holes of greater than 1300 microns base diameter with his technique.

Dear Dr.Aslan if you had noticed the surgical history of the fellow eye meybe you would see the rationale of that surgery on the second eye ?The epi and intraretinal gliosys is presumed to be similar on both eyes.
