This case presents the challenges encountered when performing complex vitrectomy cases in the setting of asteroid hyalosis. This patient had history of proliferative diabetic retinopathy (DR) and developed a full thickness macular hole for which surgery was done and was successful. The video includes a before and after OCT scans with VAs.
