Using 'pop-and-chop' with high vacuum and a 'stuffing' technique, ultrasound energy is minimized so as to protect the corneal endothelium in the removal of this dense post-vitrectomy cataract. Also highlighted is the value of repeatedly injecting dispersive viscoelastic throughout the case.
