Two in One: IOL Exchange

Show Description +

Despite the advances in the technology of calculating the power of IOLs, each operator sometimes has a "refractive surprise" resulting from incorrect calculation of the implant power. The optimal solution is to remove the implant and replace it with a lens with the right power. The modification of IOL explantation presented in this video is to increase safety and reduce the number of complications, especially damage to the lens capsule. This video was awarded during the ophthalmic film festival in GDYNIA (Poland) in August 2019
