This video features the removal of an IOL that is adherent to the anterior capsule for 360 degrees. Viscodissection is performed using a 30-gauge needle on a dispersive viscoelastic cannula. The reason for the exchange is that this posthyperopic LASIK patient had distorted vision secondary to the added negative spherical aberration of the IOL implant. Patient was happy postoperative after a nonaspheric IOL was placed.
