Pediatric Terson Syndrome

A 15-year-old male with history of motor vehicle accident presented to Michael A. Klufas, MD, and Colin McCannel, MD, with Terson syndrome with dense non-clearing vitreous hemorrhage. Upon removal of the vitreous hemorrhage, there was noted to be two areas of old sub-ILM hemorrhage with dehemoglobinized red blood cells which were removed with the DORC brush tip backflush.
