John Kanellopoulos, MD, presents a comparative study on Descemet's stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty (DSEAK) corneal transplant procedures using ocular tissue, adhesive, and standard nylon sutures. The results were monitored long term for up to 2 years, and the sutureless group with the tissue adhesive yielded better performance over time. Both groups indicated a hyperopic shift.
