The Grip and Rip technique of deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty has benefits over other types of DALK. It is faster and safer with less risk of perforation and conversion to penetrating keratoplasty (PKP). This presentation highlights the helpfulness of intraoperative OCT in showing the tight, smooth, and clear interface that is achievable with Grip and Rip ALK.
