Asim Piracha, MD, shows the IntraLasik procedure using 3% oversize, 8.7-mm diameter, 50º superior hinge, 110 micron thickness, and 110º reverse side cut angle with the 150 KHz AMO iFS femtosecond laser. The pocket is turned off. The excimer ablation is performed with the 400 Hz Allegretto Eye-Q (Alcon) flying spot laser. The procedure is performed with all disposable, single-use instruments, including the adjustable speculum, Sinskey hook, and LASIK cannula (Moria). OBL that is noted is peripheral to the flap margin and does not interfere with the eye tracker. The elliptical flaps can be perfectly centered over the pupil without shrinking the diameter of the flap, and the shape of the flap perfectly fits the natural elliptical shape of the corneal anatomy.
