Crystalline Lens Luxation to the Anterior Chamber

Show Description +

A 39-year-old patient diagnosed with Marfan's syndrome complained about a sudden loss of visual acuity in right eye caused by crystalline lens luxation to the anterior chamber with endothelial contact. A double continuous-loop four-point scleral suture fixation with Hoffman scleral pockets technique was modified so as to perform two needle passes through the scleral for each haptic in the same meridian, resulting in the external part of the suture being transversal to the limbus.

Very impressive result fixating a single piece acrylic IOL to the sclera. Is this the EnVista lens? Thank you for posting.
