This is a video describing the combination of viscodilation and a Hydrus Microstent during cataract surgery in order to maximize outflow by "flushing" out the distal pathways and scaffolding the canal and bypassing TM using the stent. This patient is s mild OAG patient but on three medications. The rationale for using two different devices is the thought the resistance to outflow is not just in the TM but also the canal and possibly distal since she was on three medications with IOP in the middle 20s.
