Combination of CXL and ARTIFLEX Toric Phakic IOL for the Management of Early Keratoconic Cases

Show Description +

The combination of corneal collagen crosslinking (CXL) and a toric phakic IOL can be used in the management of some early keratoconic cases. In this video, Jose L. Güell, MD, APO, treats a 21-year-old patient with keratoconus by performing a collagen crosslinking to stabilize the conus. Three months later, an ARTIFLEX Toric Phakic IOL (Ophtec) is implanted to correct ammetropia.
