Under stereo coaxial illumination, Dr. Packard makes 2.5mm main incision through a limbal relaxing incision. A coaxial phacochop technique is used to remove the nucleus. After cortex is removed with bimanual irrigation and aspiration and the capsule is polished, a toric IOL is inserted.
