Dan Lindfield, BM, FRCOphth, presents a successful case of needling with the XEN Gel Stent (Allergan). A 68-year-old woman presented with cataracts and an IOP of 25 mm Hg on two agents. She underwent combined phacoemulsification and XEN implantation without complications. At week 20 her IOP rose to 20 mm Hg and needling was performed at the slit lamp.
