A man in his 50s underwent uncomplicated LASIK surgery 15 years ago, followed a year later by a flap-lift enhancement. Recently, the patient developed pain, redness, and irritation in his right eye. He was diagnosed with iritis and herpes simplex keratitis and referred to the Cornea Service.
