Show Description +

Anand V. Mantravadi, MD, shares the case of a woman in her late 50s with a long history of rheumatoid arthritis. The patient had chronic uveitis in one eye and high intraocular pressure (IOP). A tube shunt had previously been implanted several years ago. Recently, the patient's IOP had dropped into the single digits, and a leak was discovered around the tube. She also had an intumescent white cataract. Dr. Mantravadi discusses his plan to remove the cataract, evaluate the leak, and revise the tube as necessary.
