Prevalence of Dry Eye Syndrome in Symptomatic Patients Undergoing Allergy Skin Testing

Moderator Steven Vold, MD, of Vold Vision in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Jay Pepose, MD, of Pepose Vision in Chesterfield, Missouri, discuss the prevalence of dry eye disease in symptomatic patients undergoing allergy skin testing. These are two of the most common problems eye care providers see, and patients often present with overlapping diagnoses. In Dr. Pepose's study, patients with DED were also more likely to have severe allergies.
