David Eichenbaum, MD, reviews data from the HARBOR study, paying particular attention to patients with pigment epithelial detachments (PEDs). Dr. Eichenbaum explains that the study data point to a relationship between ranibizumab therapy and visual improvement in patients with PEDs in HARBOR, and that a significant number of patients saw PED resolution after ranibizumab therapy. However, as Dr. Eichenbaum points out, some of the HARBOR data raise as many questions as they answer.
