Dr. Downes explains new study data showing that treatment of goegraphic atrophy with avacincaptad pegol (Izervay, Astellas) led to reduced partial and total ellipzoid zone attenuation compared with sham, a difference that was greater in patients with worse baseline low luminance deficit.
