Use of the miLOOP in Pseudoexfoliation

Show Description +

I. Paul Singh, MD, presents use of the miLOOP (Carl Zeiss Meditec, formerly Iantech) in a patient with weak zonules. After a standard hydrodissection, the miLOOP loop bisects the lens with centripetal force and minimizes pressure on zonules that may occur when creating grooves with the phaco needle or cracking with the second hand instrument.
