Soosan Jacob, FRCS, presents an interesting variation of lamellar keratoplasty where she tucks in a skirt of tissue into an inferior peripherally dissected pocket to increase the inferior corneal thickness in PMD. TILK was first described by Kaushal S et al in "Kaushal S, Jhangi V, Sharma N, Vajpayee R et al. "Tuck In" Lamellar Keratoplasty (TILK) for corneal ectasias involving corneal periphery. NICE PROCEDURE, AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE LIMBUS WITH THE DONOR CORNEA, THE POSSIBILITY OF REJECTION INCREASES. WHAT MEDICATIONS YOU USE TO DIMINISH THIS RISK? FOR HOW LONG?.
