P. Dee G. Stephenson, MD, FACS, presents her technique for manual cataract surgery with Trulign toric IOL placement (Bausch + Lomb). She polishes the anterior leaflets and posterior capsule with the Stephenson Capsule Polisher (Bausch + Lomb Storz). After measuring the IOP, she uses ORA with VerifEye plus to determine aphakic power and astigmatic power and axis. After placing a CTR in the bag to aid stability, the Trulign IOL is injected through a 2.8mm incision.
