Trans-zonular TriMoxi Technique

Show Description +

Demonstration of trans-zonular technique for placing TriMoxi, an antibiotic and steroid formulation, during cataract surgery. The technique is adapted from a number of surgeons who use TriMoxi. Several views of the medicine going into the eye are shown, as it can look different in different eyes. The intraoperative drug therapy reduces, or even eliminates, the need for cataract surgery patient to use drops in the post-operative period. Going dropless alleviates compliance issues, staff and surgeon time spent explaining drops, and the high costs associated with drop therapy.
