In this case, a 21-year-old monocular woman’s vision is reduced to light perception only. The cornea is scarred and opacified following a blunt trauma 10 years ago and she has a history of traumatic cataract surgery. Upon examination it is revealed the patient also has an inferior retinal detachment. Frederic Aissani, MD, demonstrates his approach to this case using a temporary keratoprosthesis.
