A 2-year-old boy presented with leukocoria and was found to have stage 3B (total exudative retinal detachment) Coats disease. Andrew S.H. Tsai, MD performs external subretinal fluid drainage, scleral buckling, pars plana vitrectomy with injection of perfluorocarbon, laser photocoagulation, and cryotherapy.
