This video demonstrates a standard cataract surgery technique for removal of a 4+ nuclear sclerotic cataract. This technique shows a small, near-clear corneal incision, manual capsulorrhexis, a stop and chop phaco technique with the Alcon Centurion Vision System, removal of cortex with Simcoe irrigation/aspiration, and a monofocal intraocular lens implant.
