This video demonstrates how the cylinder size in laser assisted cataract surgery will impact nuclear removal. Several cases are shown using a 3.0mm, 4.7mm and 6.0mm cylinder diameter. The benefits and disadvantages of each are shown and discussed. Over time I have found the 4.7mm size cylinder is efficient and allows the nuclear lens material to be removed more easily.
