Many AMD patients fail to notice their macular pathology and some tests, like the Amser Grid, may not catch subtle changes in vision. Dr. Garfinkle looks at the Foresee PHP technology (Reichert) that uses Vernier Acuity which is based on the brains sensitivity to small distortions in co-linear arrangement of photoreceptors.
