Ozurdex Explant No-Touch Technique

Show Description +

This is the case of a patient s/p Yamane intrascleral haptic fixation of a three-piece IOL. An Ozurdex implant migrated into the anterior chamber causing corneal decompensation. A "No-Touch" technique using viscoelastic (in this case Provisc) was used to manipulate and explant the Ozurdex given its friable nature. Credit to the MEEI Retina Service for this technique.
