Non-Penetrating iCath Canaloplasty

Show Description +

In this glaucoma surgery video, Richard Lewis, MD, provides the commentary for a canaloplasty procedure performed by Robert Stegmann, MD. To facilitate fluid drainage, and thereby lower IOP, the surgeon maneuvers the iTrack microcatheter (iScience Interventional, Menlo Park, CA) 360 degrees through Schlemm's canal. As the microcatheter is withdrawn, the 10-0 prolene tensioning suture is threaded through the canal while OVD is simultaneously injected to further dilation.
