The MiLoop cataract device (IanTECH) is a small snare activated by a thumb deployment that chops the lens. The nitinol snare is designed to slip under the anterior capsule and then behind the lens to completely ensnare the lens before contracting.

Great job. I kept thinking about a device just like this about few years back and you brought it to life!. Awesome. Maybe now we dont need expensive phaco machines and packs?, just something to vacuum up the fragments?
