Management of Subluxated Cataract: Hooks, Ring, and Sutures

Show Description +

This is a case of a post-traumatic subluxated cataract which required capsular hooks to support the capsular bag while the hard nucleus was removed by a chop technique. An endocapsular ring and capsular tension segment were used to support the bag. There was accidental sector iridectomy that had to be repaired using an SFT technique at the end of surgery.
