In this IFIS case, Dr. Lewis enlarges the iris with a Malyugin ring and injects trypan blue under viscoelastic to aid in capsulorhexis formation and approximation of the capsular bag rim. After the cataract is phacoemulsified in the bag, cortex is removed with bimanual irrigation and aspiration.

very hard nucleus and nicely done.In this case I think direct vertical chop of the center of the nucleus make surgery easier,faster because you will have more material to grasp and vertical chop cause to crack the nucleus totally.
