Lasso of IOL/capsular bag with Gore Tex suture

Show Description +

This is a case of a dislocated IOL/Capsular bag complex that is lassoed using a Gore Tex CV8 suture on each side. A radial groove is created and the suture passed through the bottom of the groove and then retrieved through the top of the groove using a snare on each side to create a loop around each haptic. This secures the lens without torquing or twisting it. The knots are buried by rotation.
