A. John Kanellopoulos, MD, presents a keratoprosthesis procedure in an advanced aniridia keratopathy and glaucoma case that caused corneal blindness in the patient. Using small incision techniques, the procedure was managed by a femtosecond laser assisted implantation of a foldable, acrylic KeraKlear (KeraMed) inlay and combined with an Ahmed valve (New World Medical) implantation.
