IOL Exchange With the 'Twist-and-Out' Technique

Show Description +

Renfeng “Rena” Xu, MD, PhD, shares a case of a patient who underwent routine cataract surgery with Vivity PCIOL implantation 5 months prior, but the patient complained of monocular diplopia and poor vision. After allowing 5 months for potential neuroadaptation, the decision was made to perform an IOL exchange with an aberration-free monofocal PCIOL in the bag. Dr. Xu used the 'Twist-and-Out' technique as published by Uday Devgan, MD.
