Frederico F. Marques, MD, PhD, and Daniela M.V. Marques, MD, PhD, present the case of 64-year-old female who underwent IOL exchange due to residual refractive error (-6.75 sph) and low readings of pachymetry (410um). An intraocular folding technique was performed after fracturing the superior haptic due to extensive adhesions and a 3-piece hydrophobic acrylic IOL was implanted uneventfully.
