This video shows how near additions and target refractions of segmental MIOL can be combined in order to achieve an emmetropic or blended vision. We call these implantation variants "The Duesseldorf Formula." Thereby, knowledge of defocus curves generated from clinical data as well as expected postoperative strength of halo and glare are an indispensable tool for the physician-patient consultation in order to meet patients' individual needs.
