The enVista (Bausch + Lomb, Rochester, New York) is the first hydrophobic acrylic IOL to receive the FDA labeling claim of being 100% glistening-free. This lens combines the company's aspheric, aberration-free Advanced Optics technology with a new glistening-free material. It is intended to minimize posterior capsular opacification.
