This video details a case featuring a rhegmatogenous retinal detachment patient with early proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR) and evidence of a posterior break and a macular hole. After the initial procedure and a period of loss to follow-up, the patient returned on postop week 6, presenting with a dislocated crystalline lens, a persistent macular hole, and a total retinal detachment with proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR).
