The patient in this case presented with a persistent deep corneal ulcer. Altan A. Ozcan, MD, describe the use of human fibrin glue in multilayered amniotic membrane transplantation in ocular surface reconstruction. Smaller grafts were layered and secured with glue, then a larger graft is sutured into place.

Dear Deseye, The patient did very well for 6 month, and then she did come to follow-ups. But the main aim of this surgery for this particular patient was tectonic purpose. She had been adviced for keratoplasty after the surgery.

Dr. Ozcan, how did this patient do? Was this a perforated corneal ulcer to begin with?
