The Kahook Dual Blade (KDB) by New World Medical is a modernization and improvement on the goniotomy procedure described by Dr. Barkan from the 1930s. It allows you to excise a strip of TM, one of the biggest barriers to outflow facility. In this mark + meet technique, the surgeon can excise the TM using a forehand position from start to finish and need not go backhand.
