Amar Agarwal FRCS
Show Description +
Amar Agarwal, FRCS, describes the use of a glued hemi ring segment for sutureless trans-scleral fixation of the capsular bag. The glued ECHR hooks the capsular bag to the scleral wall and prevents it from moving, thus provides centration and stability intra- and postoperatively. The device is made of PVDF, the same material used in IOL haptics.
