Thank you. My "Flip and Slice" technique has evolved over for many years - maybe close to a decade.

I do not routinely clean the anterior capsule. I polish the posterior capsule. I have not noticed a difference in the rate of PCO with this technique compared to other nucleus disassembly techniques.

On this cases soft catarat , don´t you think is is necessary to clean anterior capsule, to avoid future capsular opacification

The Flip & Slice is my go-to technique for most cataracts including ones 3+ or 4+ NS. In the denser cataracts, I do not get a complete 'slice' through the cataract during the flip motion but a partial one. When the cataract is flipped, I use my sculpt mode directly over the partial slice to quickly bisect the dense cataract into two hemi-nuclei before I go to quadrant mode to fully remove the dens lenses.
