A. John Kanellopoulos, MD, presents two similar cases experiencing extreme LASIK epithelial ingrowth. Creating a flap, the crease was removed from the first patient, and the surface epithelial was remodeled successfully. The second case involved removing all the epithelial from an exposed partial flap. One month after the procedures, both patients' vision improved to 20/20.
