Dr. Liu Baosong uses a needle made cystotome to prechop a catarct prior to phaco surgery. No hydrodissection is performed and a needle tip is used to create a continuous curvilinear capsulorhexis. This technique can be safely and greatly reduced damage to the cornea and effectively shorten the operation time. [No narration]

Excellent! The cystotome perchop dramatically reduce the intraoperative US. and damage to the corneal endothelium, especially in case of hard nucleus. It is worth promoting!

This whole procedure is amazing! Even if the cystotome looks horrible, and may cause a possible damage to the capsule, but still it's a talented skill and should be popularized among skilled cataract surgeons.
