Combining Intacs With Epi-off CXL

Show Description +

Karolinne M Rocha MD, PhD uses the FS200 femtosecond laser to create the channels for inserting the intracorneal ring segments (ICRS - INTACS) combined with epithelium-off corneal cross-linking (CXL) for the treatment of keratoconus. Intracorneal ring segments improve the symmetry of the cone and reshape the corneal. CXL procedure strengthens the cornea and stop the progression of keratoconus. [No sound]
